ACC Specialist - Manama, البحرين

DHL Global Forwarding - Air, Ocean and Road Freight Specialist. This role focuses on executing our AFR pricing strategy, managing pricing enquiries, monitoring tariffs, handling RFQs, shipment documentation, database maintenance, relationship building with customers and airlines, preparing performance reports, enhancing services, and providing support to the team.

Responsibilities

• Execute plans and processes to implement the AFR pricing strategy.
• Respond to pricing enquiries efficiently and competitively.
• Ensure timely monitoring and accurate updating of local tariffs.
• Develop RFQs, provide detailed guidance for high priority RFQs, and conduct launch calls for critical RFQs.
• Deliver day to day shipment documentation for freight forwarding, assist in tender development, and ensure on time submission of relevant documents.
• Develop and maintain databases with specific information to enable quick responses to network queries.
• Build and secure business relationships with customers and airlines and participate in negotiations.
• Prepare carrier performance reports and reviews.
• Identify opportunities to enhance services and processes to secure cost effective and competitive prices, and negotiate competitive rates with airline suppliers while meeting specified service criteria and transit time targets.
• Understand recent developments of new solutions, services, lanes, and traffic development.
• Provide support on issues and problems from less experienced/new team members, giving direction and guidance as needed.
• Study and resolve issues in day to day delivery and implement practices for AFR pricing focusing on increasing effectiveness and efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience/qualification.
• More than 4 years of related experience.
