Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of modern culinary trends, and a passion for delivering excellent food consistently. The Head Chef will be responsible for menu development, kitchen management, inventory control, staff training, and maintaining high standards of food quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily kitchen operations and ensure the quality of food preparation.

Develop and execute seasonal menus, ensuring they are aligned with Serra Cafés brand and vision.

Manage and train kitchen staff, including hiring and performance evaluations.

Ensure all food is prepared and served in accordance with health and safety regulations.

Maintain inventory, ordering supplies, and managing food costs to maximize profitability.

Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless operations.

Foster a positive and productive kitchen environment.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a senior kitchen role.

Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, kitchen management, and food safety standards.

Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

A culinary degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
