Objective
The principal objective of this role is to act as the الأول point of contact for students, visitors, and external guests to the University, providing a professional and welcoming service while delivering high-quality administrative and customer support. The postholder will work closely with colleagues across the University to manage front of house operations, respond to student enquiries, and provide accurate information to prospective students, parents and other stakeholders. The role also supports the promotion of RCSI البحرين’s programmes from the point of initial enquiry. We are seeking a professional, friendly, and highly organised Front of House Coordinator who will play a key role in creating a positive and welcoming campus experience.

Student Recruitment Team Lead and Student Recruitment and Admissions Manager
Key Responsibilities Front of House
- Act as the الأول point of contact for all campus visitors, providing a warm, professional and helpful welcome
- Manage the main switchboard, answering and directing calls accurately and efficiently to the appropriate department or individual
- Monitor and respond to enquiries through the shared Outlook inbox in a timely and professional manner
- Respond promptly to student enquiries, providing accurate information or referring queries to the appropriate team
- Provide accurate and up-to-date information on the University’s programmes to prospective students, parents and other stakeholders, reflecting positively on the institution’s brand and reputation
- Work closely with the Student Recruitment and Admissions team to support prospective student enquiries
- Assist with campus tours, open days and other University events, as required
- Coordinate incoming and outgoing post, courier services and package deliveries
- Administer room bookings, visitor access arrangements, taxi bookings and other visitor support services, as required
- Liaise with academic and professional services colleagues, external organisations and service providers regarding visitors and campus activities
- Maintain a tidy, organised and professional Front of House area at all times
- Carry out administrative duties as may reasonably be required from time to time

- Communicate with stakeholders in an accurate, timely and professional manner
Others
- Ensure compliance with all RCSI and RCSI البحرين policies and procedures
- Participate in training and development activities, as required
- Represent the best interests of RCSI and RCSI البحرين at all times
- Undertake other duties as may reasonably be required from time to time
Requirements
- Previous experience in a front‑of‑house, reception, customer service, or administrative role (desirable)
- Fluent in both English and Arabic language, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages (essential)
- A higher education qualification, preferably in a business or management‑related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook applications and experience using other administrative and CRM systems
- An effective communication style, appropriate to audience and situation
- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise work effectively
- A motivated, methodical and reliable self‑starter, with the ability to work effectively on own initiative and as part of a team
- Ability to take ownership, manage issues proactively, and be accountable for outcomes
- Commitment to continuously improve the efficiency and effectiveness of Front of House processes
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Ability to act decisively and meet deadlines
- Enthusiasm and drive to support the continued delivery of the RCSI vision and uphold the University’s brand
