Job Purpose

The Bids & Proposal engineer has the task of preparation of proposals in consultation with Front End Sales Engineer of the allocated Region.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

Should be proficient in selecting appropriate models and preparing detailed proposals for field instrumentation
Reading & understanding the RFQ given by FES
Preparation of firm and budgetary - both technical and commercial proposals
Negotiating 3rd party suppliers to get the best tech/comm buyout items offers
Preparation of TQ replies, Prebid and Post bid clarifications
Support FES in negotiation and finalization of orders
Tracking of offers sent to FES

Qualification And Experience

Degree of Electrical/ Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering
5-8 Years of experience in the Automation filed, preferably for instrumentation project sales (pressure, level, temperature, Flow)
Strong knowledge of EPC project lifecycles, tender evaluation, and cost estimation principles.
Well understating of Sales tools (CRM ETC)

Competencies

Must be ready to learn, understand the products.
Adapt and fit the products in industrial applications
Team player

Skills

Must be conversant with internal processes of Proposal making and customer interactions
