About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Assistant Claims professional to join our Claims Department. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or an early-career professional looking to build a career in the insurance and reinsurance industry.
The successful candidate will provide administrative and operational support to the Claims team, assisting with claims registration, data processing, document management, and client correspondence while ensuring accuracy and timely service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and process new claim notifications.
- Review claim documentation and perform initial claim assessments.
- Verify policy details, insured information, deductibles, and coverage parameters.
- Maintain accurate claims records and ensure documentation is properly stored.
- Prepare cash call statements and issue debit notes as required.
- Support the preparation of loss reports, claims spreadsheets, and aggregate calculations.
- Follow up on outstanding claims information with brokers and cedants.
- Coordinate internal and external claims-related correspondence.
- Process claims in accordance with الشركة procedures and approval authorities.
- Assist in monitoring and updating major loss and event claims records.
- Maintain accurate claims data and support renewal-related loss record updates.
Requirements / Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Insurance, Finance, or a related field.
- Cert CII qualification is an advantage.
Experience
- 0-1 year of office or administrative experience.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
Skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work within deadlines.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of insurance or reinsurance operations is preferred.
