المنصب Summary

We are looking for a Kitchen Assistant to support daily kitchen operations, food preparation, and service tasks following The Ritz-Carlton standards and safety policies.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare ingredients for cooking: portioning, chopping, storing food.
  • Wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables.
  • Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients.
  • Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality, presentation, and food preparation checklists.
  • Prepare cold foods.
  • Operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers.
  • Test foods to determine if they have been cooked sufficiently.
  • Monitor food quality while preparing food.
  • Set up and break down work station.
  • Serve food in proper portions onto proper receptacles.
  • Wash and disinfect kitchen area, tables, tools, knives, and equipment.
  • Check and ensure the correctness of the temperature of appliances and food.
  • Follow الشركة safety and security policies, report maintenance needs, accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to manager.
  • Complete required safety training and certifications.
  • Maintain uniform and personal appearance; be clean and professional.
  • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect الشركة assets.
  • Communicate with clarity and professionalism.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships; support the team to meet common goals.
  • Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period during the shift.
  • Reach overhead and below knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
  • Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing ≤25 lbs without assistance.
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
  • Related work experience: at least 1 year.
  • Supervisory experience: none required.
  • License or certification: none.
