Job Purpose

Works as part of the team to complete service and troubleshooting وظائف as per customer requirements as resident engineer at TOTAL or other customer sites.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
  • Assigned to the system installation, application configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Proficiently designing, implementing, and testing a wide range of I/O, basic control functions, interlocks, sequences, operator interface, and other control components on automations.
  • Capable to handle the hardware installation, instrumentation wiring, loop drawing and its troubleshooting.
  • Being responsible for accuracy and completeness of all project drawings, databases, and documentation.
  • Being responsible for compliance with project quality and completion of all quality documents.
  • Ability to troubleshoot difficult control and integration problems with Yokogawa systems.
  • Capable of driving projects independently with the direction given by the lead engineer.
  • Exhibits the importance of frugal and efficient time management, and reports time promptly and accurately as required by الشركة policies.
  • Works cooperatively and efficiently as a member of a project team as assigned by the Service Lead or Engineering Manager.
  • Capable of following Yokogawa quality procedures and documentation.
  • Works effectively in both an individual and team environment; may work on multiple, simultaneous projects and various products of Yokogawa.
  • Provide customer training as and when required.
Job Qualifications & Experience
  • Preferably a graduate in Engineering - Process Control Systems / Instrumentation / Electrical & Electronics with 4 to 6 years in handling small to medium projects or site maintenance activities as resident engineer.
  • Minimum 6 to 9 years' experience in Industrial Automation Control systems, preferably with Yokogawa DCS system Centum VP and ESD system ProSafe-RS or other ESD systems such as Triconnex or ICS.
  • Any additional certifications like TuV.
  • Previous work experience on offshore FPSO/Terminals/Platforms will be preferred.
Job Skills & Competencies
  • Good analytical skills in troubleshooting and investigation of complex issues reported from site.
  • Resolving complaints/problem solving skills.
  • Adaptability and quick learning of various products and technologies in the instrumentation and control systems domain.
  • Bilingual (English and French speaking) is mandatory.
  • Understanding of quality practices.
