Main Objectives

Administer and coordinate Quality Assurance activities in accordance with الشركة procedures and in compliance with regulating authorities' requirements. Maintain a Quality Assurance system that is independent of all maintenance activities. Coordinate and follow up on the activities of Quality Assurance personnel to ensure effective execution of assigned quality assurance and compliance activities. Finally, determine the Quality & Compliance of maintenance and training activities with established European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) Part 145, 147 and other National Aviation Authority (NAA) regulatory requirements.

Main Duties
  • Support the Quality Management in coordinating Quality Assurance, Compliance Monitoring, and Safety Management activities to ensure BAS maintenance and training operations remain compliant with applicable regulatory requirements, الشركة procedures, and approved manuals.
  • Act as Deputy to the Quality Management function during periods of absence and maintain regular communication with aviation regulatory authorities, customers, and internal stakeholders to support the management of quality-related matters affecting BAS maintenance and training approvals and ensure continuity of departmental operations and regulatory compliance activities.
  • Support the implementation and monitoring of the Safety Management System (SMS), including hazard identification, risk assessment, occurrence reporting, and follow-up of mitigation actions in accordance with approved safety procedures and the Maintenance Organization Exالمنصب (MOE) to support effective safety management and regulatory compliance.
  • Maintain and administer the internal occurrence reporting system to ensure safety reports, incidents, and non-conformities are captured, evaluated, investigated, and communicated to relevant stakeholders, while monitoring trends and supporting corrective actions, including reviewing and coordinating الشركة Authorizations to support effective occurrence management and ensure personnel authorization compliance.
  • Conduct scheduled reviews of BAS manuals, including the MOE and MTOE, against regulatory requirements to ensure documentation remains accurate, current, and compliant, while supporting amendment processes and document control activities, including supplements and forms to maintain compliance with regulatory and operational requirements.
  • Support the planning and execution of internal audits, compliance checks for both 145 and 147, 145 Safety checks, and supplier oversight activities to verify adherence to regulatory standards, الشركة procedures, and approved operational practices. Monitor corrective and preventive actions to ensure timely closure and escalation of overdue items where required to support continuous improvement and minimize compliance risks.
  • Assist in managing departmental resources, workload planning, budget monitoring, and Quality Assurance personnel assignments in line with operational requirements and man-hour planning. Monitor staff compliance requirements, including recurrent training, mandatory courses, authorization validity, and experience records. Support the review of certifying staff documentation, participate in technical board interviews, and ensure personnel remain compliant with authorization and competency requirements to support efficient utilization of resources and maintain personnel competency and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Comply with الشركة's and airport authorities' health, safety & security requirements.
  • Carries out other similar or related duties as directed by the management.
Minimum Requirements Education
  • Bachelor's Degree in Aviation or a related field, should hold an EASA Part 66 License with Type Endorsement.
Experience
  • A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in Aviation/EASA environment.
Other Essential Requirements
  • Must successfully complete Aviation, Auditing, and Management-related courses.
  • Certified SMS Risk Assessor certification.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of EASA Part 145/147 requirements, Safety Management Systems (SMS), and National Aviation Authority regulations.
  • Good knowledge of written and spoken English.
  • Good computer literacy skills in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.
  • Valid driving license.
