Nasser Centre for Science & Technology is seeking a qualified and experienced Part-Time Welding Trainer to join the Industrial Partnership Department. The trainer will primarily deliver theoretical instruction in welding and fabrication subjects, helping trainees understand welding processes, materials, standards, quality requirements, and safe working practices.

  • Deliver classroom-based theoretical training in welding and fabrication subjects.
  • Explain welding processes, joint design, welding symbols, materials, basic metallurgy, welding defects, and inspection principles.
  • T each trainees how to interpret welding drawings, procedures, specifications, and applicable quality requirements.
  • Prepare lesson plans, learning materials, assignments, and assessments in line with the approved curriculum.
  • Assess trainees’ knowledge, monitor academic progress, and provide constructive feedback and support.
  • Ensure that theoretical content reflects relevant welding safety and occupational health requirements.
  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Welding Engineering, Welding Technology, Fabrication Engineering, or a closely related welding discipline.
  • Minimum of two years of relevant teaching, training, or industrial experience.
  • Strong theoretical knowledge of welding processes, materials, joint design, and welding symbols.
  • Knowledge of welding defects, inspection principles, quality requirements, and safety standards.
  • Ability to interpret and clearly explain welding drawings, procedures, and specifications.
  • Ability to simplify complex technical concepts and deliver them clearly to trainees.
  • Strong lesson-planning, assessment, classroom-management, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital learning tools.
  • Good command of English.
