OCC Specialist - البحرين

DHL Global Forwarding is an air, ocean, and road freight specialist, offering standardized transport and specialized end-to-end solutions worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Execute plans and processes to implement the OFR pricing strategy
• Respond to pricing enquiries in an efficient and competitive manner
• Ensure timely monitoring and accurate updating of local tariffs
• Develop RFQ for high priority RFQs, provide detailed guidance, and conduct launch calls for critical RFQs
• Deliver day to day shipment documentation for freight forwarding and assist in development of tenders, ensuring on time submission of relevant documents
• Develop and maintain databases with specific information to enable quick responses to network queries
• Build and secure business relationships with customers and airlines
• Prepare carrier performance reports and reviews
• Identify opportunities to enhance services and processes, secure cost effective prices, and negotiate competitive rates with airline suppliers while meeting desired service specifications and transit time targets
• Track recent developments of new solutions, services, lanes and traffic development
• Provide support on issues and problems from less experienced team members, giving direction and guidance as needed
• Study and resolve day to day delivery issues and implement practices for OFR pricing focusing on increasing effectiveness and efficiency

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience/qualification
• More than 4 years of relevant experience
