Senior Program Manager

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Program Manager to lead complex programs, manage cross-functional initiatives, and drive successful delivery of high-impact business projects in البحرين.

In this role, you will oversee program planning, execution, governance, stakeholder management, and performance reporting. You will work closely with senior leadership and multiple business functions to ensure programs are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of strategic programs and large-scale initiatives.
  • Define program objectives, scope, timelines, budgets, resources, and success metrics.
  • Manage multiple projects and workstreams while ensuring alignment with business priorities.
  • Establish program governance frameworks, reporting structures, and performance monitoring processes.
  • Collaborate with executive stakeholders, project teams, vendors, and external partners.
  • Identify program risks, issues, dependencies, and implement effective mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor program progress and provide regular updates, dashboards, and reports to senior management.
  • Drive process improvements and operational excellence across program activities.
  • Manage budgets, resource alالموقع, and delivery schedules.
  • Mentor project managers and support team capability development.
  • Ensure successful change management and adoption of program outcomes.
Requirements
  • Strong experience managing complex programs and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
  • Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, timelines, risks, and resources.
  • Experience working with executive leadership and senior stakeholders.
  • Strong knowledge of project and program management methodologies.
  • Proficiency with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, Asana, or similar platforms.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of program/project management experience, including leadership of complex initiatives.
  • Professional certifications such as PMP, PgMP, PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum Master, or equivalent are highly preferred.
  • Experience managing enterprise transformation, digital programs, or strategic business initiatives.
  • Previous experience working in البحرين or the GCC region is preferred.
