Structural Analysis Engineer at LevelUP HCS

About the Role

As a Structural Analysis Engineer, you’ll be responsible for the stress and vibration analysis of components such as compressors, turbines, shafts, bearing systems, and stationary structures. You’ll play a key role in ensuring mechanical integrity, safety, and performance across a range of operating conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and optimize gas turbine systems for life, weight, manufacturability, and cost.
• Conduct thermo-mechanical simulations under various operating conditions.
• Perform creep, fatigue, fracture, vibration, and rotodynamic analyses.
• Lead FMECA assessments to support safety and operability.
• Review designs and simulations; develop testing guidelines.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team development.
• Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering (or related field).
• 5–15+ years of experience in structural analysis for gas turbine propulsion.
• Strong foundation in mechanical design, integrity, and heat transfer.
• Experience with whole engine structural analysis and bearing performance (preferred).
• Proficient in FEA tools and design software (e.g., SolidWorks, Siemens NX).
• Programming skills in C, Matlab/Simulink or similar.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Awareness of advanced materials, aerodynamics, and structural mechanics.
